I had a reawakening, a Renassiance, if you will. It started with an innocent gchat... I’ll share it with you:
I was looking at our wall-to-wall conversations last night, procrastinating school of course, and man, you are one weirdo

it will give me a suprise and a laugh

12:30 PM i feel like someone just hired me for a job i like or something!
oh btw, one of the things you wrote on my wall "I'm jenny, Im mysterious, I have a quetsion mark for my picture"
12:31 PM me: hawhahhaaaaaaaaa omg
12:32 PM remember when i first got on facebook and i didn't understand and i created a scary goodnight group?
How does if feel to see a gchat between Jenny and I? Like you’re reading a top secret FBI file? I thought so.
Anyway, since this chat, Jenny and I have been trying to post the weirdest quotes possible on eachothers facebook wall’s. Gchat and Facebook, welcome to my life from 8-4. Anyway, it went like this. Kori even began to hop in on it, which is priceless.

I don’t know if there’s something wrong with me, but I find this really funny.
Okay, back to my “rebirth”. It happened when Jenny put the quote from Sarah. I asked her if that was from Sarah’s blog and she said it wasn’t, it was from the “Quotes from our Friends” that we started in college.
Ohh, yes, Of course, “Quotes from our Friends”. These “Quotes” started being typed up by Jenny on her college computer during our sophomore year and went on throughout college. The quotes range from our whole group of friends, even some guys were involved and they always achieve in taking me back in time. Jenny just sent me the “Quote” document in its’ entirety and I was bursting out laughing during the whole thing. Ling O L. The quotes reflect how young we are, sometimes how naïve, but manage to reflect who we were at that moment. I love that.
It got me thinking…we’re not in college, living together, but we’re still alive. Going through things, having fun, trying to figure out what on earth we're doing and, somehow we’re still friends. Connected through the memories...
And of course, now I’m going to bring it home and talk about God and His purpose for me and molding me into the person I am at this point. How on earth was I pulled to go to OU? God put factors in my young life to lead me there and I know that it was to meet this group of people who have remained so dear to me.
To this I will say……"Quotes from our Friends" should live on. True, we don’t have a word document that’s open on Jenny’s computer at the Kappa house, but we have effcient technology and I say when there is something quotable even in a text or email; perhaps, a text or email should go out and we can keep them all together somehow?? We’ll call it “Quotes from our Friends: The Mid-Twenties Edition.” And this should include any and all people that are in our lives now that state something quote worthy.
Maybe I’ll even make it a regular on ppppfffftttt. Just call it “Quotes from our Friends” and post the quotes when they come about.
That’s what the internet is all about: To keep us connected. This idea could catch fire like status updates on facebook or be the lamest thing since the blue tooth….I leave it in your hands.
